Silky Gold Milkweed-Pesticide Free!

Silky Gold milkweed has clusters of golden yellow flowers and attracts a variety of pollinators, especially the Monarch butterflies. Silky Gold thrives in full sun and is a perennial. This milkweed will grow to approximately 36-48 inches tall and wide, but keep in mind that this will be food for the caterpillars and they will probably never let it get to maximum height! 

***It is recommended to prune the tropical milkweed stalks to about 4-6 inches in height during the fall and winter months to discourage monarchs from breeding and especially to help eliminate OE spores that may be present on the foliage of the plant.***
